Video Monitor Technician (VMT) Training
This additional training ensures that Patient Attendants:
- know how to use the video monitoring program;
- understand how HIPAA applies to this role;
- know how to respond to a patient situation; and
- understand how to properly maintain the VMT log.
Upon successful completion of the AvaSys Staff Education for Online Learning and the Video Monitor Technician (VMT) Virtual Training Follow-up, a member of the scheduling team will contact you to schedule a time for hands-on training at the VMT station.
Please be sure to review and fully complete all sections of the VMT Training.
