The fair will take place on Wednesday, August 17th from 10am – 1pm at Monroe County Community College (located at 1555 S. Raisinville Road in Monroe, within the Welch Health Education Building).

Manpower will be hosting a job fair to fill a large number of openings with our premier Monroe County customers. Stop by and talk to us about work opportunities with: Plastic Ominium, La-Z-Boy, Yanfeng (previously Johnson Controls), Backyard Products, and Premier Transportation.

Nearly 1 in 4 Employers Anticipate Increasing Staff Levels in Q3 2016

U.S. employers indicate stable hiring plans for the third quarter of 2016, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey, released Tuesday by ManpowerGroup. Taking into account seasonal variations, the Net Employment Outlook is +15%, making anticipated hiring relatively stable, both quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year. Locally, a healthy job market is expected for Michigan as employers expect to hire at a solid pace during Quarter 3 2016.

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan will be hosting a series of job fairs to recruit food production workers for temporary/seasonal positions at “JIFFY” mixes (Chelsea Milling Company) in Chelsea, Michigan.

Three job fairs will take place at “JIFFY” mixes, located at 201 W. North Street in downtown Chelsea. Plan to attend one of the following dates/times:

  • Thursday, June 9th from 12noon – 3pm;
  • Tuesday, June 14th from 3pm – 6pm; or
  • Friday, June 17th from 9am-12noon.

Hello, Manpower Associates. Please read this important message regarding the use of PeopleNet to enter/submit your payroll hours.

Your hours must be entered/submitted for approval each week by Sunday at midnight to avoid interruption in getting paid on time. If you enter your hours late, please contact Manpower’s accounting department so that we can see it through that your hours are approved.

Ensure you select the correct week ending date and do not enter time out of week. Manpower’s payroll period runs Monday through Sunday so the week ending date will be that Sunday.… Read More
