Our client, Michigan Medicine, in Ann Arbor is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Birth Certificate and Vital Statistics Specialist! This is a long-term temporary opportunity that starts immediately. Apply today!

Location:  Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor

Compensation: $20-22 per hour – WEEKLY PAY!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interact directly with parents/guardians of newborns delivered at Michigan Medicine, collecting county/state required medical and statistical information
• Accurately enter data into all relevant fields of the State of Michigan VERA system
• Identify issues and make recommendations for resolution and improvement

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• Knowledge of standard medical terminology is required
• Demonstrated ability to accurately collect and analyze medical information is required
• Experience and knowledge of legal requirements for reporting births is required
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for a long period of time is required
• Must meet Michigan Medicine immunization requirements
