Our client in Monroe is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to work as a Journeyman Maintenance Technician! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that starts immediately. Apply today!

Location:  Monroe, MI – just off I-75 and Dixie Hwy.

Compensation: $35.75 per hour – WEEKLY PAY!

What’s In It For You:

• 3rd shift opportunity working 12am – 8am, also earn a shift premium
• Work every other weekend
• Time-and-a-half for overtime, double time on Sundays, and a raise every year

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines
• Inspect, repair, and replace parts as needed
• Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts
• Repair electrical equipment
• Prepare purchase orders for parts and machines
• Follow OSHA standard when performing lockout/tagout procedures

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 months of related experience
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Government or company-sponsored apprenticeship program or degree preferred
