Our client, Chelsea Milling Company (aka “JIFFY mixes”), is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to work at their printing facility in Marshall, Michigan! This is full-time, direct hire position.

Location:  Marshall, Michigan

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide first-line supervision of hourly employees to meet requirements of the production schedule
• Offer technical expertise in all areas of printing
• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity of operation
• Resolve employee relations issues
• Oversee and/or report on daily and monthly inventory, including sanitation/housekeeping of facility, integrated pest management, and Lock-out Tag-out
• Work with suppliers, vendors, and service suppliers
• Ensure high degree of quality with food safety and employee safety issues
• Assist/back-up Division Manager in all aspects of plant operations while providing technical expertise in all areas of printing

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• At least 5 years of experience in the printing/carton industry
• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience with labor unions and administering a collective bargaining agreement
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to get along with others
• Comfortable with personal computers and basic computer literacy
• Knowledge of current cutting and printing equipment including sheet fed printers, Bobst die-cutters, and folder gluers a plus!
