Our Ann Arbor and Monroe offices will be closed for walk-in business on Thursday, November 24th in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. We will reopen under reduced hours on Friday, November 25th from 9am – 5pm. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, November 28th.

Payroll distribution for week ending November 20th will be handled as follows:

• Direct Deposit / ADP Paycard: Electronic payroll funds will be directly deposited into your financial account or onto your ADP paycard on Friday, November 25th for immediate access (we anticipate no delay).

Today, ManpowerGroup announced the results of the 11^th annual Talent Shortage Survey and Hardest Jobs to Fill.

The 2016 Talent Shortage Survey reveals that 46% of U.S. employers are experiencing difficulty filling open positions within their organizations. This represents a 14% increase in employers struggling to fill job vacancies over 2015 and is higher than our global total, which increased 2% to 40%.

U.S. employers indicate a slight increase in hiring plans for the final three months of 2016, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey, released today by ManpowerGroup. Taking into account seasonal variations, the Net Employment Outlook for Quarter 4 2016 is +18%, which matches the strongest post-recession Outlook reported in Quarter 4 2015. Hiring plans nationwide improve by three percentage points compared to the previous quarter, with all 13 industry sectors planning to increase their payrolls.

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan will be hosting a job fair to recruit production workers for open positions at Plastic Omnium’s Auto Inergy Division in New Boston, Michigan.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 10th from 9am to 1pm at Plastic Omnium (located at 36000 Burelle Avenue, New Boston, MI 48164).
