Q3 2014 Manpower Employment Outlook Survey Results

June 10, 2014

ManpowerGroup has released the results of the quarterly Manpower Employment Outlook Survey (MEOS) for Quarter 3 2014. The latest results indicate that employers expect hiring intentions to remain relatively stable during Quarter 3 2014 compared to Quarter 2 2014 and slightly increase compared to one year ago at this time.

And good news for Michigan! Among the 50 states, Michigan is one of six in which employers indicate the strongest Net Employment Outlooks, and third best in the nation!

The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey is one of the most trusted surveys of employment activity in the world. Every quarter, ManpowerGroup asks more than 18,000 hiring managers about their hiring plans for the next three months. This helps identify the strongest and weakest metropolitan areas, states and industries for hiring and pursuing jobs.

For employers, the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey provides you with the latest forward-looking perspective on hiring in your area. The results help you understand your competition for talent within your industry and market and can help guide your workforce management strategies. For job seekers, the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey results will help you target your job search with details on the best locations to find jobs and the industries hiring.
