Manpower, Inc. of Southeastern Michigan has named Wendy Willford President!
As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of our local franchise, we are thrilled to announce recent leadership changes at Manpower, Inc. of Southeastern Michigan!
Please join us in congratulating Wendy Willford in her promotion to President effective May 12, 2022!
Wendy is distinctively qualified to lead our organization. Having worked for Manpower for nearly 23 years, she has thrived in every area of our franchise operations and is uniquely experienced in overseeing day-to-day business functions, establishing company goals and objectives, guiding our employees, and ensuring the proper allocation of resources across organizational areas. Wendy exemplifies the values that surround our culture and the way we work together with kindness, flexibility, responsiveness, and integrity. She is an exceptionally talented and empowering leader, creating strong relationships with our employees, customers, and local community. “What a privilege it is to connect those seeking employment opportunities in our community to meaningful work. Wendy had previously held the position of Operations Vice President/CFO. She joined Manpower in December 1999 and her career spans across many departments and functions our business. She has held positions of increasing responsibility in staffing, service, operations, human resources, and accounting/finance. Wendy also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Franchise owner and former President, Susan Carlson, will continue to remain at the helm of the organization as CEO, providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership to the company and working closely with the senior leadership team. “We are making this transition at a significant point in time as our team focuses on the company’s growth, development, and implementation of workforce services and solutions for local area employers and job seekers. We are delighted to have Wendy leading our franchise forward in the years ahead.” said Carlson.
Reporting to Wendy in her new role as President is our senior leadership team: Kelly Bailey (Staffing Vice President/CSO), Jordan VanZandt (Service Solutions Director), and Annie Edmunson (Director of Operations) along with Sheryl Timpa (Staffing Manager) and Kelicia Anderson (Recruiting and Marketing Manager).
