Important Holiday and Year-End Information for Manpower Associates
To Our Valued Associates,
With the holidays and year-end quickly approaching, we wanted to take a moment to pass along some important information. Please review the below, and if you have any questions, reach out to your Manpower representative at 734-665-3757. From all of us at Manpower, we wish you and yours the happiest of holidays!
HOLIDAY PAYROLL INFORMATION
Payroll distribution for weeks ending December 22nd and December 29th will be handled as follows. Please note that payroll distribution is dependent upon timely submission of hours worked. Late time may result in a delay of receiving your pay.
Direct Deposit / ADP Paycard: Electronic payroll funds will be deposited into your financial account or on your ADP Paycard on Friday, December 27th and Friday, January 3rd for immediate access (we anticipate no delay).
Prenote Paper Checks: If you are receiving a paper check during the prenote stage (until direct deposit goes into effect)…
• Your paycheck will be available for pick up at our Ann Arbor or Monroe office after 9am on Friday, December 27th and Friday, January 3rd.
• If you would like it mailed, checks will be delivered to the postal service on Thursday, December 26th and Thursday, January 2nd (you should expect to receive it within 2-3 business days).
Quarter / Year-End: Please ensure your time for hours worked the last payroll period of 2019 (week ending December 22nd) is turned in on time to avoid delay in being paid. Due to the quarter/year-end, we CANNOT PROCESS ANY LATE PAYROLL HOURS. Hours received AFTER 1pm on Tuesday, December 24th will not be processed until the week of December 30th. Associates who have turned in their payroll on time will still be paid on time (on Friday, December 27th).
• If you are responsible for submitting a paper timeslip… Timeslips for week ending December 22nd need to be turned in to our office no later than 5pm on Monday, December 23rd.
• If you use Peoplenet* web time entry… You will need to submit your hours via the Peoplenet tool before midnight Sunday, December 22nd. (*This does not apply to those using Peoplenet Virtual Time Clocks.)
HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS
Please note our revised holiday hours in Ann Arbor and Monroe. If you have a question, concern, or need to reach us during the times we are closed, please call 734-665-3757. Our phones are staffed around-the-clock, 24/7/365, to better serve you!
• Tuesday, December 24th (Christmas Eve): Ann Arbor office open from 9:00am – 3:00pm; Monroe office closed for walk-in business.
• Wednesday, December 25th (Christmas Day): Ann Arbor and Monroe offices closed for walk-in business.
• Tuesday, December 31st (New Year’s Eve): Ann Arbor and Monroe offices open from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
• Wednesday, January 1st (New Year’s Day): Ann Arbor and Monroe offices closed for walk-in business.
W-2 ADDRESS VERIFICATION
Want to receive your 2019 W-2 quickly (once it is mailed in late January)? Take a moment to ensure we have your current mailing address on file. Log into your Manpower account by visiting www.manpower.com (see Guide to Updating your Personal Information) or call/text our office at 734-665-3757. If you are not able to update your mailing address before December 22, 2019, your W-2 will be forwarded by the post office or returned to our office for pickup. Have questions or need help? OPEN ENROLLMENT
Manpower’s Group Medical plan is now available for enrollment through December 23, 2019. Our Group Voluntary Life, Dental, Vision, Accident, and Critical Illness Insurance plans are also open for enrollment and/or changes during this time. Email notifications have been sent to all eligible associates. If you feel you should have received an email about open enrollment and you did not, please reach out to us at benefits@manpowermi.com.
Manpower will continue to provide Group Life and AD&D at no cost to you, as long as you select or decline the other offerings through the Manpower Benefit Center during open enrollment. If you choose to decline insurance through Manpower during this period, you will not be eligible again until Manpower’s next open enrollment (unless you have a qualifying life event such as a loss of group coverage through a spouse or parent).
