COVID-19 Testing Information and Locations in SE Michigan

Michigan Coronavirus Hotline: The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has launched a statewide hotline to respond to health-related questions about coronavirus (COVID-19). The hotline number is 1-888-535-6136 and is open seven days a week from 8am-5pm (press 2 for help finding a test site). Please note that staff cannot provide individual clinical advice or a diagnosis through the hotline. If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are symptomatic, call your health care provider. If you do not have a health care provider, call the nearest hospital.

Where can you get a COVID-19 test? A variety of local hospitals, health care centers, pharmacies, and urgent cares have testing centers available.

Self Testing: At-home test kits are now more readily available to the public. These kits can be purchased at many pharmacies and retails stores.

Some individuals may be eligible for the reimbursement of at-home test kits purchased out-of-network through their insurance company. Please check with your insurance company for details and eligibility including how to file a claim.

Residential households in the U.S. can now order FREE at-home tests from USPS.com. To place your order, click here. There is a limit of one (1) order per residential address and that order includes four (4) individual rapid antigen tests.
