Looking for work? If so, plan to attend this year’s Career & Opportunity Expo at Monroe Community College on Friday, March 27th. The expo will bring together opportunities for students, alumni, employers, veterans, and community members. In addition to highlighting employment opportunities for the community, the expo will focus on available resources for returning service members.

The expo is being held from 10:00am – 1:30pm at Monroe County Community College in the Welch Health Education Building. The address is 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161. Click here for a map/directions.

This event is free to everyone and job seekers do not need to pre-register. However, here are some tips to help you prepare:

• Know which employers are attending and who you are interested in speaking with;
• Prepare a list of questions in advance to show you are proactive;
• Bring plenty of copies of your resume to provide to employers; and
• Dress professionally!
