Michigan Job Market Expected to be Among Strongest in Nation!

The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey results for Q1 2015 are in and it’s good news for job seekers in Michigan!

According to the survey, employers in Michigan expect to hire at a brisk pace during Q1 2015. Among survey participants, the Michigan employment outlook is the second best in the nation. From January to March, 25% of the companies interviewed plan to hire more employees, while only 5% expect to reduce their payrolls. Another 69% expect to maintain their current staff levels and 1% are not certain of their hiring plans. This yields a Net Employment Outlook of 20%.

For the coming quarter, job prospects appear best in fields of Construction, Durable Goods Manufacturing, Nondurable Goods Manufacturing, Transportation & Utilities, Wholesale & Retail Trade, Information, Financial Activities, Professional & Business Services, Education & Health Services, Leisure & Hospitality, Other Services and Government.
