Free Cervical and Breast Cancer Screenings at SJMHS on 3/12/16
On Saturday, March 12th, the American Cancer Society along with Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is providing FREE Cervical and Breast Cancer Screenings for uninsured and low income women. This event will take place at the Women’s Health Center (located at 5320 Elliott Drive in Ypsilanti) on the campus of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Free screenings, with same-day test results, will take place from 8:00am to 1:30pm and include cervical cancer screenings (Pap tests) for women between the ages of 21-64; mammograms for women between the ages of 40-64; breast exams; and HPV tests.
Other free free programs and services are happening from 9:00am to 3:00pm and include health education lectures; healthy nutrition information; exercise tips; community resources; children’s activities; and additional giveaways.
